Native Revit Families directly from DIALux Designs

Beginning in early 2026, our DIALux Revit Add-on will significantly simplify the integration of your lighting products into BIM workflows with Autodesk Revit.

When a lighting designer specifies a lighting installation in DIALux and transfers it to Revit using our new Add-on, all luminaires are automatically imported as native Revit Families.

For you as a luminaire manufacturer, this removes the need to create and maintain Revit Families for this kind of workflow. The product data that you already provide for DIALux is transferred to Revit with all the required parameters.

Also important to know: We are developing the Add-On in line with the latest industry standards, such as ANSI/IES TM-32-24 (Lighting Parameters for Building Information Modeling), ensuring full international interoperability and data accuracy.

Gold and Silver 3D Members can take immediate advantage, as their existing DIALux product data already includes 3D models and all important parameters. Silver Members enjoy similar benefits, except for the 3D models.
